On October 24th, Italians, especially those in Bologna, celebrated Mortadella Day. Meanwhile, on the other side of the ocean in the United States, people also hosted festivities to honour Bologna, commonly referred to as "Baloney" in a more local context. Although the American version differs slightly from the Italian original, it can be enjoyed in various ways, whether stacked in sandwiches or fried in delis across New York City. Buon Appetito!
